My final day in China was spent at the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs. Both attractions
are well outside the city, so it was an hour's bus ride with our most excellent driver,
Mr Lee honking his horn almost non-stop and angling in and out of traffic. After mandatory
tourist stops at the pearl and jade shops, we went to the Badaling section of the Great
Wall. We did not climb the Great Wall from the bottom- we took the cable car to the east end
of the Wall, and this is a shot from that cable car. The red smear at the left of the shot
is from a torn off sticker, not anything gross.
