All right- on the outer temple guard posts were the royal guardians. On the outermost walls, where the emperor needed the most protection were these nine guardians. On the second ring of walls, there were seven guardians, and on the innermost ring, the emperor only needed three. Stephen told us what they were, but I forgot most of them! The figure to the far right is the emperor, followed by his protectors and his mounts for land and sea and finally, his sky chariot complete with dragon. My kind of ride!
